Longtime FILA Easter Bowl Photographer Bob Kenas Passes Away On Eve of 54th Annual Event

The FILA Easter Bowl lost a valued and beloved family member recently. Last Sunday morning while preparing to shoot the hundreds of matches at the 54^th FILA Easter Bowl currently taking place at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, David Kenas received word that his father Bob Kenas had passed away at his home in New Jersey.

For more than 40 years, Bob Kenas was easy to spot at the FILA Easter Bowl doing what he loved so much – shooting the up-and-coming and rising stars of American junior tennis. Bob had story after story of shooting juniors and future champions like Agassi, Sampras, Capriati, Spadea, Tarango, Davenport, Querrey, Roddick and on and on.

“Bob Kenas will be deeply missed, and everyone at the FILA Easter Bowl passes on our condolences to David and daughter Jennifer (Kenas) Arianas and the rest of the Kenas family at this time of great loss,” said FILA Easter Bowl Chairman Lornie Kuhle.
